The Laboratory for the Study of Anxiety Disorders typically has several ongoing treatment research studies, providing an opportunity for no cost treatment to University and community research participants suffering from debilitating anxiety, panic, and trauma-related symptoms and disorders. Anxiety Treatment Group – 2020

Are you struggling with excessive worry, anxiety, or panic? Anxiety disorders are highly treatable.

The Laboratory for the Study of Anxiety Disorders is currently offering a counseling group designed to address anxiety disorders using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to treatment. Its goal is to change patterns of thinking and behavior that are behind people’s difficulties, and ultimately change the way they feel.

Where: Zoom Sessions via The University of Texas, Laboratory for the Study of Anxiety Disorders
When: Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 pm
Dates: 10 Weeks (June Dates are TBD)

Cost:  $30/Session x 10 sessions

The lab currently sees a wide variety of anxiety patients that may have an anxiety disorder such as:
