For people whose anxiety, OCD, or PTSD symptoms feel especially overwhelming or are making daily life particularly difficult, does it matter whether therapy is delivered in person or via telehealth — and if so, for whom and why?
The Exposure Therapy Consortium Research Team is in the early stages of planning a research study that will examine when in-person therapy works best, when telehealth works just as well, and how to match people to the right setting for their needs. Before we finalize our plans, we want to hear from the people who matter most — patients, clinicians, and anyone with personal experience with anxiety, OCD, or PTSD treatment.
If that’s you, we’d love your input. Our survey takes less than 15 minutes and asks about your experiences with and preferences for in-person versus telehealth care. Your responses are completely confidential and will directly shape how this study is designed.
Interested in doing more? The survey also includes an option to join our patient advisory group and stay involved as the research develops. Advisory group members are compensated for their time.
