Prospective Graduate Students.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in applying for doctoral training in the Lifespan Development Lab, please apply through the psychology graduate program at the University of Texas at Austin. In advance of submitting your application, you may write a personal email to Professor Tucker-Drob at tuckerdrob@utexas.edu<\/a> to make him aware of your forthcoming application. Your email should not be AI-generated or canned. It should provide an overview of your interests, experiences, goals for doctoral training and how they intersect with the work being conducted in the lab. Simply restating the interests from Professor Tucker-Drob’s faculty web profile as your own is typically not an effective approach. Note that Professor Tucker-Drob does not schedule meetings or calls with prospective applicants in advance of their application. The graduate admissions committee does typically select a short list of the most promising applicants for interviews after having reviewed applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
