Past and current research focuses on the timing of planning of spoken language, the generation and learning of proper names for people, and individual differences associated experience with different languages.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">The lab houses a team of graduate and undergraduate students from the Departments of <a href=\"http:\/\/liberalarts.utexas.edu\/psychology\/index.php\">Psychology<\/a>, <a title=\"http:\/\/csd.utexas.edu\/\" href=\"http:\/\/csd.utexas.edu\/\">Communication Sciences and Disorders<\/a> and <a title=\"http:\/\/www.utexas.edu\/cola\/depts\/linguistics\/\" href=\"http:\/\/liberalarts.utexas.edu\/linguistics\/\">Linguistics<\/a> under the direction of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.utexas.edu\/cola\/psychology\/faculty\/profile.php?id=zmg84\">Professor Zenzi M.
